Scenic Valley Inn is a beautiful, spacious, “Real Log” Home built in 2003. We opened as a Bed and Breakfast in the Spring of 2004. Our Wooden Nickel Event Center (a log barn located 150FT from the Inn) is perfect for Receptions, Parties, and Family Reunions. The Meadow has become a popular place for Spring, Summer, and early Fall Weddings. Our Inn includes 4 spacious Guest Rooms. All rooms include a King Bed and access to a Private Bath.

A full three-course breakfast is served each morning of your stay. May include, stuffed French toast, quiche, casseroles, homemade bread, breakfast meats, 3-cheese stuffed croissants, pancakes, waffles, and more. Small beverage/snack bar with for-purchase items available. A small fridge is located near each guest room for your use. Lunch, Dinner, and most snacks must be self-supplied. The main house kitchen can not be used by guests. If kitchen facilities are necessary, you may use the event center as long as you return the facility to the state it was in prior. We are happy to accommodate any dietary concerns (ie: allergies, vegetarian/vegan diet, gluten-free, lactose intolerant, etc.). Please indicate them in your reservation. You may contact us up to two days prior to make adjustments, within reason.

We are located 1.5 miles outside of Manhattan, KS city limits in the beautiful Flint Hills. We are also located 5 minutes from Manhattan Regional Airport and 20 minutes from Fort Riley military base. Our 20-acre, heavily wooded property is full of nature to be enjoyed. Enjoy bird watching on any of our many woodland trails, butterfly chasing in our gardens, or a peaceful picnic near our ravine with the local elk herd. Watch the sun set over our beautiful Flint Hills from the screened-in gazebo, while keeping the night chill at bay with our fire table. We invite you to explore our lovely hometown and enjoy some of our local favorites. The famous Bill Snyder Stadium and Kansas State University campus are only an 8-10 minute drive away. All ages can enjoy the KSU Gardens and Insect Zoo, Flint Hills Discovery Center, and the Marian Kistler-Beach Museum of Art. A favorite summer night out includes stops at Tap House for their Korean BBQ wings, El PATRON for some chips & queso, Bourbon & Baker for shrimp & grits, and finishing the night off at Liquid Art enjoying a wine flight with friends.

Any parties caught not adhering to these policies will be removed from the property at once without a refund and an additional $250 cleaning fee may be applied. All parties’ names and ages must be provided upon reservation. This is to ensure we can provide age-based accommodations when necessary and can address our guests accurately throughout their stay. Any reservation may be rescheduled or credited for future stays at the owner’s discretion. Owner must be contacted at least 48 hours prior to stay or cancellation fees will apply. Reservations may be canceled BY PHONE ONLY up to 2 weeks prior to reservation. A non-negotiable $25 fee/night will be applied to all cancellations.
