KBBA Member - Barns @ Timber Creek

Street Address: 14704 91st Rd
City: Winfield
State: KS
Zip: 67156
Description: The 1890s post and beam barn was moved to the property and reconstructed with all the comforts of the 21st century. The five rooms have private baths and satellite TV. Each room carries a connection to the history of the area at the turn of the century: the Southwestern Room, the Granary Room, the Birdhouse Room, the Railroad Room, and the Barnyard Room. Outdoor wedding Chapel and Stone Barn indoor reception/event space are available. The inn is a great gathering place: plan a party in the great room, rock on the porch, walk the trails along Timber Creek, or enjoy the brillance of the stars in the dark country nights. The five guest rooms are spacious each with private bath. Guests have access to a refrigerator and microwave. The Stone Barn recaptures a bit of the past history of the land and is beautiful to see or put to new use. Area: Winfield is full of entertaining options: in the winter visit the Isle of Lights, in the spring join in the fun of Kanza Days, in the summer take in the music at the Country Round Up, and in the fall check out the Bluegrass Festival and Art in the Park. Three of the private baths have whirlpool tubs. All rooms have satellite TV and wireless internet.
