It was built in 1905 and has been beautifully restored and furnished with antiques, crystal chandeliers and lovely original woodwork. It offers three comfortable bedrooms, a relaxing library and full breakfast . Enjoy it’s wrap around porch with wicker chairs and seize the opportunity to view vast starry nights. Tours are available of the Shepherd’ Staff Conference Center of which it is a part. Prices are per room, per night – double occupancy starting at $110.

Description: Built in the 1890’s The Lonesome Dove Board’n House is fully renovated to reflect modern conveniences while still reminiscent of another era. Each of the  14 private bedrooms with 12 private baths is uniquely decorated to reflect the history and culture of the surrounding area.

Make yourself at home in the Molly Brown,  Cowboy room, Texas Room, Dorothy’s Room or any of the comfortable rooms.  The Indian Lodge Meeting Room is an area to reflect on Chief Dull Knife and Little Wolf Cheyennes who crossed this area in the late 1800’s The Dairy room includes a microwave, mini-refrigerator, coffee maker, and dishware. All rooms are equipped with hair dryers. WiFi is available throughout the building. Available to groups booking five or more rooms.
